In this “government of the people” the right to vote is the most fundamental of our rights. Our democracy suffers when voter registration and election day turnout are low. As your County Clerk, I will defend the voting rights of every citizen of DeKalb County. I will come to you with mobile voter registration. I will consult with other County Clerks on instituting multiple early voting locations. I will work on increasing voter education efforts. Vote for Jim Luebke for County Clerk and I will work to ensure all of our citizens have the greatest opportunity to participate in the electoral process.
We the People deserve to be heard by our government. Our best opportunity to be heard is through our vote. As your County Clerk, I would take the first step to ensure you are heard in the voting booth by coming to every corner of DeKalb County with Mobile Voter Registration. I pledge to reach out to each community in our county before the next general election with Mobile Voter Registration.
We the People deserve a democracy which truly represents us. Our government is more reflective of the people if more people are heard. As your County Clerk, I would try to ensure that more voices can be heard, especially the college students in our community. To make this possible, I would look into instituting a second early voting location for campus.
We the people deserve every opportunity to be informed about our government and those who serve us. Our voices are stronger when we are informed, giving us greater opportunity to build a government which is open, effective, and accountable to the people. As your County Clerk, I would work to ensure that the voters are informed about our electoral process. I would work closely with the local media to keep you informed about important aspects of the electoral process.
